The Internet is being deliberately weakened and made unhealthy. The people doing this run large countries and corporations. They do this for profit and paranoia. This is double-plus un-good. This is a necrosystem.
humanit.ie is a domain name and associated Internet services designed and maintained specifically for humans, and humans only. Parasitic wasps (of which there are over a half a million different species) are not welcome. Nor are bots, any form of AI, or pseudo-personalities such as limited companies. Even dogs, good though they are, are not welcome.
We help each other create and maintain freedom and autonomy in this digital realm. We help each other escape the walled gardens curated by maddening machines and bilious billionaires. We engage in lively and decorous conversation. We work together to build a world based on respect and kindness.
We use free libre and open source software to provide ourselves with all the power and creativity we could ever need. We rely on the generosity of so many others. We learn how the Internet works so we can always bring the Internet with us.
