humanit.ie was started by a single human named Eoin Tierney. Eoin has spent most of his life playing with computers, and has taught their use for decades.
For now the running costs are borne by Eoin as they amount to a little less than €100 per year. As more humans join the infrastructural maintenance costs will rise, and so a small stipend of about €10 per person per year will be implemented.
This site is hand written, uses no javascript, and requires no cookies. Static site generators, of which there are many, are fine but add just a little pinch of extra complexity that is unnecessary for a simpel site such as this.
